Rotate image
Turn pictures by 90 or 180 degrees or mirror them, and see the result before you save.

Up to 50 images per batch, 50 MB each, about 100 megapixels each. PNG, JPEG, WebP, GIF, BMP and AVIF (where your browser can open them).
How to rotate an image
- Choose your images, or drag them onto the page.
- Use the rotate and flip buttons until the preview looks right. The same change is applied to every image in the batch.
- Press Rotate, then download the files or a .zip.
Rotating and flipping images
A quarter turn or a flip just moves pixels to new positions, so nothing is invented or lost. Turning 90 degrees swaps the width and height: a 1200 × 800 landscape becomes 800 × 1200. Flipping mirrors the picture left to right or top to bottom and keeps its size.
The buttons stack: rotate right twice and you get a half turn, and a flip followed by a rotation is remembered as one combined change. The preview applies that change to a small copy of your first image; the saved files apply it to each full-size original.
Tips
- To crop away the edges after turning, use Crop image.
- Sharing a photo? Remove EXIF strips the location and camera details.
Questions
Are my images uploaded?
No. Rotating happens in your browser on your device. Nothing is sent to a server.
Does rotating a JPEG reduce its quality?
The image is decoded, turned and saved again at quality 92, so a JPEG is re-compressed once. PNG stays lossless. If you only need to fix a photo that shows sideways, a single pass is usually not noticeable.
Why does a photo look sideways in one program but fine in another?
Cameras often store the picture as the sensor saw it and add an orientation tag that tells programs how to turn it. This tool shows and saves the picture the way a modern browser displays it, with the rotation applied to the pixels. The saved file has no orientation tag and no other EXIF data.
Can I rotate by a custom angle?
No. This tool does quarter turns and flips, which are exact and lose no corners. For a custom tilt you need an image editor.
Which format do I get back?
The same format: PNG stays PNG, JPEG stays JPEG and WebP stays WebP. GIF, BMP and AVIF are saved as PNG (a GIF becomes its first frame).
What does the preview show?
A reduced copy of the first image in your list, with your rotation and flips applied. The saved files are made from the full-size originals.
