How to get the US Treasury yield curve with an API

POST to /v1/finance/treasury/yields for the latest US Treasury daily par yield curve, or send a date (YYYY-MM-DD) for a past one. Yields come back as numbers in percent for every published tenor, 1 month to 30 years.

Request

curl, using the free tier
curl -s -X POST https://tanod.dev/v1/finance/treasury/yields \
  -H 'content-type: application/json' -H 'X-Tanod-Free: 1' -d '{}'

Response (live, trimmed)
{"date": "2026-10-07", "requested_date": null, "adjusted": false,
 "yields_pct": {"1 Mo": 4.07, "1.5 Mo": 4.13, "2 Mo": 4.14, "3 Mo": 4.22, "6 Mo": 4.28,

Dates

The Treasury publishes one curve per government-securities business day. Ask for a weekend or holiday and you get the nearest earlier published date, with adjusted: true and a note. Future dates are refused. Tenors that did not exist in a given year (the 1.5-month bill is recent) come back as null.

Limits and caveats

Source: the official daily par yield curve published by the US Department of the Treasury. Curves are cached for up to six hours. The Treasury's site is slow (10 to 20 seconds), so the first request after a cache expiry can take that long; later ones are instant. Not investment advice.
