Bank statement PDF to CSV API prices

Updated 2026-10-13

Prices as of 2026-10-13

A bank statement converter reads a PDF statement and returns its transactions as CSV, Excel or an accounting import file. Most vendors price it per page, so the cost of one statement depends on how many pages it has. Tanod's /v1/pdf/bank-statement is priced per statement instead: USD 0.02 for up to 200 pages. This page sets the prices side by side, each in the vendor's own unit.

Tanod converts a bank statement PDF for USD 0.02 per statement (up to 200 pages), to JSON, CSV, Excel (xlsx), OFX or QIF, with every row checked against the running balance. Other vendors' published or reported prices run from about USD 0.04 to USD 0.30 per page, so a 5-page statement (an assumed example) costs about USD 0.20 to USD 1.50 elsewhere. The tool over MCP is convert_bank_statement.

What others charge

Published and reported prices on 2026-10-13. Some figures come from vendors' comparison pages, so check current prices with each vendor. The last column is an example only: it multiplies the per-page price by an assumed 5-page statement and ignores any free pages or plan minimums.

VendorListed price, in the vendor's own unitExample: 5-page statement

The DocuClipper range is our own working from its plans, not a price it lists. The USD 79 a month plan covers 300 pages, and that is a subscription, not a per-call price. Tanod has no subscription and no account.

In Tanod's index of the CDP Bazaar and PayAI (snapshot 2026-10-13) no other seller lists a PDF bank statement converter. The closest match parses a bank CSV export, not a PDF, for USD 0.01.

Check it yourself

A statement prints its own running balance, so you can re-run the check on the CSV you received without calling us again. The ten-line script is in Check it yourself before you accept it. Whatever converter you pick, run it before the rows go into the books.
