2026-10-15
- Translate a PDF, scanned or not POST /v1/docs/translate (MCP translate_document, USD 0.02) translates a digital or scanned PDF of up to 10 pages into English or 14 other languages, page by page, as Markdown, by offline machine translation on our own server.
- Secret scan for text an agent is about to post POST /v1/text/secret-scan (MCP check_text_for_secrets, USD 0.002) finds API keys and tokens, PEM and hex private keys, JWTs, passwords in URLs and BIP-39 seed phrases in a text, each with its line and a redacted preview; the secret itself is never echoed.
- Copied-text source check POST /v1/text/source-check (MCP check_text_sources, USD 0.08) searches a text's most distinctive sentences on the web as exact phrases and returns the matching pages per sentence, the share of the text found and the top sources. It gives no verdict on who wrote it.
- Places nearby from OpenStreetMap POST /v1/places/nearby (MCP find_places_nearby, USD 0.005): pharmacies, cafes, ATMs, shops or hospitals within 50 m to 5 km of a point or a city centre, nearest first, with address, opening hours and the OpenStreetMap link.
- NEAR account POST /v1/near/account (MCP get_near_account, USD 0.002): a NEAR mainnet account's balance, staked NEAR, what it can spend after its storage reserve, access keys and whether a contract is deployed.
- x402 repeat demand and known x402 clients POST /v1/x402/repeat-demand (USD 0.003) lists x402 endpoints whose 30-day payers average 2 or more calls each, from the daily Bazaar snapshot. POST /v1/x402/clients (USD 0.001) says whether a User-Agent is a known x402 monitor, indexer, grader, SDK or HTTP library.
- GPU prices: H100 power figure fixed The rent-or-buy figures showed an H100's 700 W as "7"; fixed, with a regression test.
2026-10-13
- Five single-task MCP servers Five focused MCP servers, each with one job: /mcp/html-to-markdown, /mcp/pdf-tables, /mcp/bank-statement, /mcp/pdf-to-word and /mcp/document-to-markdown. They are the same tools and prices as the full server at https://tanod.dev/mcp, for clients and directories that want one task per server.
- Cloud GPU prices: Google Cloud, and rent or buy POST /v1/compute/gpu-prices and /gpu/ now cover Google Cloud next to AWS and Azure: the GPU price plus the per-GPU share of the machine type's vCPU and memory, only in regions Google lists for that GPU. A new rent_vs_buy input compares owning a GPU (purchase, power, resale) with the cheapest matching cloud price and returns the break-even month.
- x402 listing review (USD 2, first one free) POST /v1/x402/listing-audit (MCP x402_listing_audit) reviews one x402 listing in depth: the seller report, the listing lint, 30 days of demand in its category, the 10 nearest peers with their prices, and a ranked list of fixes, each with the data behind it. Your first review is free (once per IP).
- Pre-trade check: price impact at up to 5 sizes POST /v1/chain/pre-trade-check (MCP pre_trade_check, USD 0.005) quotes a Uniswap swap at 1 to 5 sizes in one call and returns each size's output, effective price, price impact against the smallest size and best pool, plus the gap to the latest 5-minute close on supported Base pairs.
- MCP: decline the free allowance with one _meta key An MCP agent that pays can now send
_meta{"tanod/free": false}withtools/call: the tool answers with its x402 price at once and uses none of the free calls. Every answer then carries a receipt, and the free calls stay for other clients behind the same IP address. Without the key nothing changes. - Pay per page for OCR, per minute for transcription POST /v1/pdf/ocr and POST /v1/audio/transcribe (and the MCP tools pdf_ocr and transcribe_audio) now also offer the x402 upto scheme on Base. You sign the flat price as a maximum and we settle only what the job used: USD 0.002 per OCR page, or USD 0.001 per started minute of audio. The flat exact price is still offered on every network. Upto needs a Permit2 allowance on Base USDC.
- x402 seller report POST /v1/x402/seller-report (USD 0.01, MCP x402_seller_report) checks one x402 endpoint you sell and returns four parts plus a list of fixes: the listing lint, where its price sits among similar listed endpoints, what a buyer's preflight check would say, and its Bazaar demand (30-day payers and calls). An endpoint that cannot be reached is not charged.
- Cloud GPU prices as a paid API POST /v1/compute/gpu-prices (USD 0.002, MCP get_gpu_prices) returns AWS and Azure list prices per GPU-hour, on-demand and spot, filtered by chip, GPU memory, provider, region and a price ceiling, cheapest first. It reads the same twice-a-day snapshot as /gpu/, so a stale snapshot is a 503 and is not charged.
- Cheapest cloud GPU right now, by chip and region A free page, refreshed twice a day, lists official on-demand prices per GPU-hour on Azure and AWS, plus Azure spot, for H100, A100, L40S, L4, A10, A10G and T4, one row per region (never a blended rate), with the raw data at /gpu/latest.json.
- Spend policy on the x402 preflight POST /v1/agents/preflight now takes an optional policy (max price, networks, allowed or denied payees, max timeout, max multiple of the category median, listed only). The answer adds policy.result pass or fail with the clauses that failed, judged on the payment options already read. An avoid verdict always fails the policy. Same price, USD 0.001.
- Token approval audit with revoke transactions POST /v1/chain/approvals (USD 0.005) lists a wallet's live ERC-20 and Permit2 allowances on Base or Ethereum, flags unlimited approvals to addresses with no code, notes spenders that have not pulled for a set number of days, and returns an unsigned revoke transaction for each. Approval events are scanned over the latest 6,000 blocks; pass the spenders you know for full coverage. Also on the security MCP server.
- Wallet drain check: sent or pulled? POST /v1/chain/drain-check (USD 0.002) sorts each token transfer out of a wallet in the latest 2,000 blocks into sent by the wallet, pulled by a spender, or authorized by an EIP-3009 signature (how x402 payments settle). It compares the nonce at the start and end of the window and returns drained, review or clean with evidence.
- Where an AI agent can get paid today A free page, refreshed every 12 hours, counts open bounties, total open USDC and money paid out on public agent bounty boards (BountyBook, Frantic, Claw Earn, MusedIn), from read-only requests to each board. It also lists the newest open bounties, with the raw data at /bounties/latest.json.
- Address poisoning check before a transfer POST /v1/chain/address-poisoning (USD 0.002) checks a recipient against the sending wallet's own recent USDC or USDT transfers on Base or Ethereum, and against your contacts. It returns high, medium or low with reasons and transaction evidence. A recipient that shares the first and last 4 hex characters with an address you paid, but that you never paid itself, is high risk. Also on the security MCP server.
- Cheapest chain to send USDC or USDT, updated twice a day A public snapshot ranks Solana, Base, Polygon, BNB Chain, Arbitrum and Ethereum by the USD fee of one USDC or USDT transfer, with the Solana token-account rent shown separately and the raw data at /fees/latest.json. It is refreshed every 12 hours from POST /v1/chain/transfer-fees.
- Cheapest chain to send USDC or USDT POST /v1/chain/transfer-fees ranks Base, Polygon, Ethereum, BNB Chain, Arbitrum and Solana, cheapest first, by the fee of one USDC or USDT transfer at live gas prices. All fields are optional. USD 0.002 per call, also the MCP tool compare_stablecoin_transfer_fees.
- MCP payments from Cloudflare Agents clients Over MCP, a payment-required result now also carries the x402 error in _meta, and _meta["x402/payment"] accepts the signed payment as base64 JSON as well as a JSON object. This is the form the Cloudflare Agents x402 client sends.
- Check an x402 endpoint before paying it POST /v1/agents/preflight returns pay, caution or avoid for an x402 URL your agent has not paid before, with reasons and evidence from its live 402 and the Tanod agent index: a payTo change, a price outlier, listing age, the domain-to-payee binding and a farm score. USD 0.001 per call, also an MCP tool.
- Stablecoin peg, DeFi data and US airport delays Three new families of calls. Stablecoin peg: price, deviation in basis points and an on_peg, watch or off_peg status for USDC, USDT, DAI, USDe and PYUSD from public Uniswap pools (USD 0.001). DeFi data: protocol and chain TVL, stablecoin supply, DEX volume and protocol fees from our cache of DefiLlama data, used with permission (USD 0.002 to 0.004). Airport delays: live FAA ground stops, delay programs and closures for US airports (USD 0.005).
- Retry after a client timeout without paying twice Every 402 now declares x402's payment-identifier extension. Send a payment ID with the request, and a retry with the same ID within 1 hour is never charged again: most routes return the kept answer, and routes that never store what you send (PDF, image, ML and text tools) answer 409 payment_identifier_not_kept instead.
- Pay on Arbitrum too Every 402 now lists USDC on Arbitrum as a fifth option, after USDC on Base, Polygon and Solana and Binance-Peg USDC on BNB Chain. /llms.txt is now a short index of the tool families, and the full route list moved to /llms-full.txt.
- Report a wrong paid answer; our revenue in public If a paid answer is wrong, email [email protected] with the transaction hash and what was wrong. We read every report, fix what we can and count reports on the public revenue ledger, which lists every payment we have received with its transaction. Payments are settled only for answers, so there are no refunds; a wrong answer is fixed and logged.
- Make an MCP agent pay: tested TypeScript and Python A guide with working code for @x402/mcp and the Python x402 package against tanod.dev/mcp: the tool returns its price, the client signs and retries, and a per-call cap stops runaway spend. Questions go to #support on our Discord server; new tools and prices are posted to #changelog.
- Lower card prices on Apify: OCR by the page The PDF OCR actor now charges USD 0.004 per OCRed page instead of USD 0.03 per file, so a one-page scan costs a seventh as much; pages that already have text and failed files are free. Image OCR drops to USD 0.003 per image and website screenshots to USD 0.005, with lower prices on paid Apify plans.
- Pay with Circle Gateway, or on Solana through PayAI Every 402 now also offers Circle Gateway batched payments on Base and Polygon, and Solana payments settle through the PayAI facilitator. 402 headers were trimmed so that every one stays readable by Node HTTP clients with the extra payment options: the Bazaar output example in the header copy is shortened on 44 routes, while the 402 body and the OpenAPI spec keep it in full.
- Charge terms as JSON, and a checked spec /payments/terms.json publishes when a call is charged as machine-readable JSON: only an HTTP 200 answer, the answer sent only after the payment settles, the four payment options in their 402 order (USDC on Base, Polygon and Solana, Binance-Peg USDC on BNB Chain) and the USD 0.001 test payment. On 13 October every one of the 231 priced operations in /openapi.json answered an unpaid call with 402 and its price.
- DMARC checks follow RFC 9989 (DMARCbis) POST /v1/domain/inspect now finds a domain's DMARC policy with the RFC 9989 DNS tree walk instead of the Public Suffix List. A subdomain without its own record shows the policy it inherits (inherited, found_at, effective_policy) instead of being reported as missing, and the score counts it. The new t=, np= and psd= tags are read; t=y is flagged as testing_mode. The Apify email checker uses the same walk.
- Token safety verdict for Base and Ethereum tokens POST /v1/chain/token-safety (MCP check_token_safety, USD 0.008) returns one verdict, high_risk, caution, unknown or no_major_flags_found, with the reasons and a one-line summary. It combines a simulated buy and sell, token metadata and contract checks. Automated and heuristic, not an audit: no major flags is not proof of safety.
- Six ready-made MCP prompts The MCP server now offers prompts: check-token, pdf-to-markdown, check-link, company-hiring, email-security and sanctions-check. Claude Desktop lists them in its prompt menu, and Claude Code turns them into slash commands.
- When a paid call is charged A new page states the payment contract: a call is settled only when it returns an answer (HTTP 200); timeouts, server errors and bad input are never charged. It also covers retries, receipts and testing a payment for USD 0.001. The connect page now opens with a free first call you can run from a terminal.

- MCP quick start on every tool guide Each of the 110 tool guides now says near the top which MCP tool to call at https://tanod.dev/mcp, and whether its free daily calls apply. The services page explains why a focused family server (9 to 40 tools) is easier for an agent than the full 224-tool server.
- Card payment through Apify for documents and sanctions screening No crypto wallet? PDF OCR and the bulk phishing and OFAC screener run as Apify actors billed by card; the matching guides link to them.
- Docker MCP Catalog fully indexed The free MCP-server index now carries all 242 servers Docker publishes in its MCP Catalog on Docker Hub, up from the first 100, next to the official MCP registry and Smithery. Updated daily; free to read and download as JSON.
- BNB Chain payments Every paid route's HTTP 402 now also offers USDC on BNB Chain (eip155:56), next to Base, Polygon and Solana. The payment settles through the Dexter facilitator, which pays the gas.
- 11 focused services, each on its own host docs, web, finance, chain, security, agents, images, ml, text, util and sky now each have a host at <family>.tanod.dev with its own landing page, OpenAPI spec, llms.txt and MCP server, so an agent can connect only the family it needs.
- Prompt-injection check POST /v1/text/injection scores text an agent is about to act on for prompt-injection attempts. USD 0.002 per call; MCP tool check_text_for_prompt_injection. A heuristic classifier: a low score is not a guarantee.
- Large trades for a Solana token POST /v1/solana/token-trades lists recent swaps above a size for a Solana mint across its deepest pools, with wallet, side, USD size, DEX and signature. USD 0.01 per call.
- Event-contract odds POST /v1/markets/event-contracts returns current prices and implied odds for regulated event contracts. USD 0.004 per call.
2026-10-11
- x402 payment test POST /v1/x402/pay-test makes a real USD 0.001 x402 payment on Base, Polygon or Solana and returns a signed receipt, so a client can check its payment flow end to end.
- Podcast search and transcripts POST /v1/podcast/search finds podcasts and episodes (USD 0.002); POST /v1/audio/podcast-transcript transcribes an episode (USD 0.02).
- Large EVM token trades, exchange reserves, topic attention, live FX POST /v1/chain/token-trades (USD 0.01) lists large swaps of a token; POST /v1/chain/exchange-reserves (USD 0.01) gives exchange-held balances of an asset; POST /v1/trends/attention (USD 0.005) measures topic attention from Wikipedia page views; POST /v1/fx/live (USD 0.002) returns live FX rates.
- Web search price cut POST /v1/search now costs USD 0.007 per call, down from USD 0.012.
2026-10-10
- Domain availability API POST /v1/domain/availability checks 1 to 50 domain names against the TLD registry's RDAP server and DNS, and returns available, registered or unknown per name with the evidence. USD 0.0005 per name, minimum USD 0.002 per call; also the MCP tool check_domain_availability. Availability is inferred: only a registrar can confirm.
- PowerPoint and Excel build APIs, Excel to JSON, ERC-20 transfer history POST /v1/docs/pptx-build makes a PowerPoint deck from JSON slides and POST /v1/docs/xlsx-build an Excel workbook from JSON sheets (USD 0.005 each); POST /v1/docs/xlsx-to-json reads a workbook into JSON rows or CSV (USD 0.005); POST /v1/chain/erc20-transfers lists ERC-20 transfers of an address on Ethereum or Base (USD 0.003, 10 free chain reads per IP per day). All four are MCP tools.
2026-10-09
- Speech to text and DOCX template fill APIs POST /v1/audio/transcribe returns text, timed segments, SRT and WebVTT for audio up to 10 minutes (USD 0.01). POST /v1/docs/fill-template fills a Word template from JSON, with repeating table rows, as DOCX or PDF (USD 0.005). Both are MCP tools too.
- Solana and raw EVM read APIs Six Solana reads (balances, SPL tokens, transactions, signatures, accounts, token info) and eight EVM reads (eth_call, storage, nonce, receipts, event logs, gas estimates, chain info, ERC-1155 balances), plus company profile, open jobs and SEC financial statements from a domain or ticker.
