PPTX build API: a PowerPoint deck from JSON slides, pay per call

POST https://tanod.dev/v1/docs/pptx-build makes a PowerPoint file from JSON and returns it as base64. Send slides (1 to 100, in order), and optionally a deck title and a theme. It costs USD 0.005 per call, paid in USDC through x402, with no account and no API key. There is no free daily allowance on this route. The same function is the build_pptx_deck tool in the documents MCP server at https://tanod.dev/mcp/docs.

Example

curl -s -X POST https://tanod.dev/v1/docs/pptx-build \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{"title": "Quarterly review", "slides": [{"title": "Quarterly review", "layout": "title", "bullets": ["Q3 2026"]}, {"title": "Highlights", "bullets": ["Revenue up 12%", "Churn down to 2.1%", "Two new regions launched"], "notes": "Mention the Lisbon launch."}, {"title": "Next steps", "bullets": ["Hire two engineers", "Ship v2 in November"]}], "theme": {"font": "Calibri", "accent_color": "#1F4E79"}}'

Without payment the answer is 402 Payment Required with the price in USDC; an x402 client signs and repeats the call. The reply carries the deck as base64 in file (with its name, content type and byte size), slides (the slide count, 3 for the call above), output_bytes and untrusted_content. Decode file.data_base64 to get the .pptx.
