How to get an x402 endpoint listed and featured in the CDP Bazaar

The Coinbase CDP x402 Bazaar is where many agents look for paid endpoints. We sell over 130 routes there, so we checked the documented rules (docs.cdp.coinbase.com/x402/validate-endpoint, read 2026-10-09). Here they are as a checklist, with what we saw when we ran them on our own routes.

1. Validate before you wait

There is a free check, and it needs no API key:

POST, no auth
curl -s https://api.cdp.coinbase.com/platform/v2/x402/validate \
  -H 'Content-Type: application/json' \
  -d '{"resource":"https://api.example.com/report","method":"GET"}'

A pass is valid: true with simulation.outcome: "accepted". Read preflight for required failures and advisory recommendations, and bazaarExtension for the metadata the Bazaar sees on your endpoint. On five of our live routes the only advisories were about output metadata and output examples.

2. Stay listed

3. Get featured

The curated tier is editorial, but the documented bar is:

The "when to use" sentence is the one most sellers skip. In our own audit none of our 144 routes had one, so each now has a hand-written one. Across the whole Bazaar (our index of 34,062 listings in the 2026-10-09 snapshot), 94.4% have no "use when" sentence, 103 descriptions are over the 500-character limit, and 91 are empty. Full figures are in State of the x402 Bazaar.

Paste your 402 response into the free x402 listing lint to check these rules in your browser; nothing is uploaded.

4. Know what the market looks like

Listing is the easy part: of 34,062 Bazaar endpoints, 16,236 have at most one payer in 30 days. See what agents actually pay for over x402 for payer counts by endpoint and topic.

Check any endpoint's listing history

Tanod indexes the Bazaar, PayAI and MCP registries daily. The get_endpoint_history and query_agent_index tools on Tanod's MCP server show when an endpoint was first and last seen, its price and its payers.
