Company enrichment APIs for agents: price per call
Snapshot 2026-10-09
AI agents that research a company or qualify a lead call an enrichment API, and on the x402 and PayAI marketplaces each call has a listed price. We index both daily, so here is what those prices look like on 2026-10-09. The short version: the median listed offer costs about USD 0.027 per call, and Tanod's company_profile costs USD 0.005. It is a different, narrower product, so read the comparison section before you choose on price alone.

Method
- Source: Tanod's agent index of the CDP x402 Bazaar, PayAI, the MCP registry and Smithery, snapshot 2026-10-09 (latest ok snapshots; newest listing seen 2026-10-09T04:31:37Z). Internal-only sources are not used.
- Match: listing name or raw listing text contains "company" followed later by "enrich" (case-insensitive), last seen on or after 2026-10-06. This is a loose text match, so a few hits are adjacent products (people search by company domain, meeting briefs, a batch tool).
- Excluded: hosts the index flags as bulk or templated listing farms (at least 100 listings and a score of 0.5 or more on templated paths, near-duplicate descriptions and shared payout wallets). Two hosts matched, both under one domain, with 11 listings.
- Excluded: listings with no price. All 41 are MCP registry or Smithery entries.
- Deduplicated: the same host and path listed on both marketplaces counts once; ten tenant copies of one brief endpoint on a single host count once. 55 priced listings became 42 offers.
- Quartiles use linear interpolation. Listed price is the first payment requirement; some endpoints charge differently by input, and listings can be stale or wrong.
Where Tanod fits
Tanod's POST /v1/company/profile takes a domain and returns what it can read from public sources: the homepage's metadata and Organization data, social profile links, the mail provider and SaaS tools visible in DNS, the registration date and registrar, whether security.txt and robots.txt exist, and an SEC EDGAR CIK and ticker when the declared company name matches exactly one registrant. No model is used and sources says where each part came from. Details are in the company profile guide.
When a priced listing above is the better choice
- You need firmographics such as employee count, revenue or funding, or contact and people data. Tanod returns none of these.
- You start from a company name, LinkedIn URL or ticker rather than a domain. Tanod takes a domain only.
- You need a response in well under a second. Tanod fetches the company's homepage on every call, so a call takes a few seconds (0.5 to 3.4 s in our smoke test on six domains, longer if the SEC list is not cached or a site is slow).
When Tanod fits
- You have a domain and want public, sourced signals at the lowest end of the price range: 1,000 profiles cost USD 5.00 at the Tanod price, against about USD 27 at the median listed offer.
- You want every field traceable to a source, with partial results marked
partial: trueand unreachable sources reported instead of guessed. - You want to try it first: 10 free calls per IP per UTC day, shared with Tanod's other utility endpoints, with the header
X-Tanod-Free: 1.
